This blog will follow Elder Burnett throughout his mission. Some of you might not be aware of this, but after he returns, all of the content of this site (postings, pictures, and comments) will be printed out and hardcover bound into a Mission Journal for Cameron.
Cameron is allowed to follow his mission blog, and read comments left by visitors!! Also, any comments you leave or info you share will be saved for Elder Burnett to read forever. If you see something on a posting that you would like to comment about, or if you are simply thinking of Elder Burnett, you are welcome to leave a comment. These will be added to his book, and will be nice for him to look back on someday.
Likewise, if you receive a letter from Elder Burnett, or a picture, or anything you think he'd want to remember, feel free to email them to ElderBurnett@hotmail.com. I will create a posting out of the information, and it will become part of Elder Burnett's Mission Story.
So, be part of the memories and share a bit of yourself here. I know Elder Burnett will have great joy turning the pages of his Mission Book someday and seeing how much he is loved.

Elder Burnett, I loved the "little child" story. I 'believe'! What a wonderful testimony of the Light of Christ and the Gospel. I was reading today in Romans 8:16 and how all of us here on this earth are brothers and sisters of the same Heavenly Father. And in D&C 138:55-56 and Gospel Principles Book Chapter 2 today I studied. We went to (school together) training classes, to be taught to serve in different capacities, different callings, to have different strengths in the Gospel. Basically, so we would have all of the Keys to help EACH OTHER GET BACK HOME. It gave me pause. I love the scriptures. There is no problem is life that cannot be answered there. I have a true testimony of that. We can find peace, love, and true parental devotion from a Father in Heaven who loves us unconditionally, who wants us to make it back home. I love you Elder Burnett. Thank you for your inspiration of the week. Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteIt was wonderful to see your mother and sisters sing at church last Sunday. It brought me to tears. Music at church does that sometimes. I'm so thrilled to be able to go to church and actually know people there and feel loved by them.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Ellen Wagstaff and I am Elder Chris Wagstaff's mom. I was excited to find this blog. Chris doesn't write a whole lot every week so this helps me keep up with what is going on. I would love to have copies of the pictures Elder Burnett has sent that are about the ares he and Chris are serving in. Chris has sent very few pictures home and none of Wright or Sturgis. I would be happy to reimburse you for whatever cost is involved. Thanks so much.
Ellen Wagstaff
PS - Cameron, thanks for being such a good companion.
Ellen,
ReplyDeletePlease forward me your email and I'll get the pictures to you! ElderBurnett@hotmail.com :)
