Dear Family,
I just found out that a girl I knew back home passed away. She
was a girl that Kim and I were fellowshipping and bringing into the
gospel a month or two before I left. I was involved with one of her
lessons. She was in a comma for some time. When I got the email from Kim
this morning, I wrote this poem to express my sorrow/joy like I
normally always do with life. I hope you enjoy it.
Life's Breath:
C. R. Burnett
When in sorrow,
The trials gone through,
Life's last breath
Only begins anew.
For in the passing
There is pain;
But for those who know
It is for our gain.
In that moment
When a loved one dies
They have the blessing
Of seeing His eyes
He holds them dear
Calms their souls
And says with love
No debt is owed
Then with grace
With them ascends
To the heavens
Without an end

Without an end
I love you!
